Rachel

My name is Rachel. A bit about me: I’m a native Brooklynite and have worked with animal shelters and pet sitting companies since 2017. I am currently attending graduate school fulltime at Hunter College to pursue a master’s degree in social work. I am proud to say that during my time in animal welfare I coordinated the adoption and foster placement of hundreds of homeless animals across New York City. I grew up with cats, have two beautiful cats of my own, and take care of my friends’ kitties when they go out of town.

Besides the essential cat care duties such as feeding, changing water, playing, brushing, and litter box cleanup, I also feel comfortable administering medication. Additionally, I am quite skilled at animal behavior and can tell when a cat wants attention or when they need some space. As a pet parent, I understand it can be difficult to leave your furry friend when you go away. However, I make the experience as worry-free as possible by pampering your kitty and sending photo updates. I look forward to connecting with you and meeting your cats!
