Jessica

My name is Jessica! I work in the animal welfare field in NYC and currently live in Astoria, Queens where I live with my boyfriend and our dog, Daisy. My flexible schedule allows me to pet sit which is something I love to do and have been doing so over over ten years.

I grew up with cats, and my mom and I even fostered several litters of kittens when I was growing up on Long Island. She definitely influenced me in my love with animals! Before I started working in a shelter with dogs and cats, I worked at a non-profit parrot rescue, and then with injured and orphaned wildlife at a wildlife rehabilitation center where I treated and cared for squirrels, hawks, owls, opossums, and so many more. I have so many stories!

I’m very glad to be part of the Katie’s Kitty team. As a pet owner myself, I take my pet-sitting jobs very seriously- I know how it feels to go away and worry about your pets. Rest assured! I will make sure your pets are comfortable and happy in your absence. I look forward to meeting with you and spending time taking care of your cats!
